Blockhouse Studios partnered with the Indianapolis Colts to bring Halloween to life through projection mapping at Lucas Oil Stadium. From oversized event graphics on the stadium’s exterior to a pumpkin patch beneath a projected night sky, the installation combined digital imagery with physical scenery to create a playful, immersive experience for families.
The finished installation invited families into a pumpkin patch beneath a dramatic autumn sky, where projected scenery extended beyond the decorations and overhead. Rich blue light and glowing orange foliage gave the tent a playful Halloween atmosphere, while exterior projections welcomed visitors with Colts event branding at an architectural scale.
Created for a weekend Halloween event, Blockhouse Studios’ temporary installation brought two distinct projection experiences to Lucas Oil Stadium. Outside, projectors cast oversized “For the Boo” graphics onto the stadium’s façade, welcoming guests and establishing the event’s identity. Inside the tent, a separate multi-projector setup transformed the sloping canopy into a moonlit autumn sky, surrounding the pumpkin patch below with blue clouds and vibrant orange foliage. Together, the installations connected a bold exterior welcome with an immersive seasonal environment for families to explore.
